At the SuperValu National Tidy Towns Awards held in the RDS on 28th October 2022, Blackrock once again received the award for Louth’s Tidiest Town, and received its 7th Gold Medal. The village increased its marks by seven and ended up just six points behind the Overall Winner Trim.
