Blackrock has been selected by the Irish Times as one of the top 20 places to live in Ireland. The village was announced as making the long list of 20 in their annual competition, based on submissions from the general public and a review by the Irish Times. this is a significant boost to the Blackrock, and a vindication of all the work undertaken by business and community groups, including Blackrock Tidy Towns, to promote the village.
